Vintage Portis Panama Sz 7 1/8 Long Oval NM (Sold)

Vintage Portis Genuine Panama fedora in NM condition. It has a 2 3/8" brim and a 4 1/2" crown which is wrapped in a 1 3/4" maroon bandana style ribbon. The leather sweatband is soft and pliable. The straw weave is in great condition without any defects. The size 7 1/8 and Long Oval size tags fell off. I think I still have the 7 1/8 size tag but I can't seem to find the Long Oval tag. United Hatters Union tag says "straw" and "panama" which I think is the first vintage Panama that I noticed that on the tag. Looks almost brand new. $185.00 shipped.

Not knocking your prices as unfair or unrealistic - my wallet and my wife just won't let me spend that much on a hat right now.

I may just have to sneak up to VA sometime and hope to find some of the beauties you manage to locate. I can't seem to find anything in decent shape in my size down here.
