The oldest Taubers I own, dated by zipper mid 1940s. Knob Hill label with only Genuine leather on label and size 44 tag attached. It is Horsehide and a substantial hide. Pictured with an early 60s Horsehide pullover also a 44. This is the largest sized I have seen for sale.

Taubers are incredible jackets. Every time I see one, no matter the style, I have to stop and look.
Do you still have that made in SF jacket with the Mission Street label? I can’t recall if the back design was like a HB, a la the early Hercs or even Trojan. I am having a hard time finding the photos you posted of it.
