Vintage Hat Display In Savannah

If anyone is close or travelling to Savannah, GA, the Savannah History Museum just opened Hats:Crowning Glory of a Bygone Era. The link is for the exhibit opening calender event.

It seems to be a display of women's hats with some vintage clothing and accessories mixed in. There is also an interactive exhibit for children. I will find out how long it runs and post that when I find out.

I plan on heading there in the next week or two. If they allow photography I will get some photos posted.

Wouldn't it be sweet to see a bunch of Loungers there, sporting their finest vintage lids? I wish I could make it.

If I am traveling over this upcoming holiday weekend, I will either be really close to Savannah or I will be driving through it. I may stop by then. Depends on holiday traffic. Try driving through Atlanta during holidays..

EDIT: The exhibit is only about Women's hats and dressmaking, according to the website. Still, should be interesting to witness a bygone era.
