Vintage German Suit - 1940s/1950s. Approx 40R

A wonderful German 2-piece DB suit, tentatively dated to the late 1940s. It's not newer than the 1950s, but it could be older than the 40s. Not sure. Anyhow, a very lovely suit, in a good size (approx 40R - don't ask me what is intended by the stated "Größe 46" on the label. None of the measurements on this suit correspond to a size 36 …), and at a good price. Modell: Berlin. Awesome condition, seat a little shiny - it's that kind of fabric … Lovely black self-stripe fabric. The trousers have 4 interior front suspender buttons, and classic German 2 rear suspender buttons on extender tabs. As you can see the side pockets on the trousers are placed off the side seam, a nice touch. There are two rear buttoned and flapped pockets on the trousers and a dinkie little fob pocket on the waistband at the front. Double pleats to the front of the trousers.

The arms of the jacket are lined in striped grey and cream polished cotton or rayon.

Please PM with interest. I'd like £100 for the suit. Shipping extra to be determined by destination. Paypal only, please.
