I was told that these glasses date roughly to the 1940's. The frames measure 4 1/2 inches across (post to post). Lenses are original, I do not know the prescription. Lenses could easily be replaced. Silver-tone metal frames and lenses could use some cleaning, but otherwise in great shape. Ear hooks are the adjustable wire type. The only markings on the frames read; 1-10 t 12k. The t in the middle actually look more like the silhouette of a rook chess piece, in my opinion.
Anyway, it comes with a hinged case that seems to be metal with some sort of vinyl-like covering and plush lining. The hinge is still good and tight.
