These shoes are new old stock, Corbeil brand, they sport a all leather fine ultra nice welted sole, called bend oak leather. the uppers are soft calf leather, and of course you can see by the pictures they are sharp and need nothing at all. I had my cobbler place the heel protectors on the heels, speaking of heels, you can see they are nailed on, and the pictures give you a show of how the soles are nicely crafted. I am not real sure how old these shoes are, perhaps mid 1950's or 1960's, but they are made with some really high quality. They hold a shine with ease, have been totally conditioned and are ready to wear. They come with original paper tag on the shoe itself, and the original Corbeil LTD. shoe box.
You'd be hard pressed to buy a shoe made today with all the quality these have, and it would cost you a bundle more than what I am offering these new vintage shoes in a size 11D....I put them a notch or two above any Allen Edmond shoes I have ever owned, they are that well made with really good craftsmanship.
Shipped to any place in the USA for $100.00 and really this is a bargain to say the least on these dress shoes.
Thanks for looking, I don't think these will last too long so if you want them don't wait to pull the trigger.!
Do not wait for ol' Frank Sinatra to tell you to buy these babies....don't be shy...your feet will love ya! Help me feed a small and meager pittance of your money into my bank! Weeeeeee Haaaw! lol!
