In our latest search of the local antique malls, Brooksie and I found this vintage Nesco Gourmet Rotisserie oven... :eusa_clap It must have been tucked-away for years.... The oven is in VERY good condition... The baking rack, pan, and wire basket for chops, fish, veggies, etc. was included. Even the clock still keeps perfect time.. :) Quite a bargain for $24.00 IMHO. ;)

The chicken we cooked was tender and juicy... Hmmm.. maybe a leg-of-lamb next? :essen:

My Mom had a similar rotisserie that she got from the Blue Chip stamp store. It cost quite a few books and I still remember licking the stamps to paste them in, yuck.
We all thought it was great fun to watch a chicken or roast cook on the spit.lol
I now have a gas grill with a rotisserie and did my turkey on it, it was great.
Bob.

Oh wow, some people actually posted on this thread, the last time I checked it, nothing was happening. We actually have used our new rotisserie several times since we have gotten last week. It is super nice because not only is it a rotisserie it bakes and broils, so we do not have to heat up our oven all of the time. Funny thing is it really is kind of fun to watch the meat go around on the spit, I guess we are easily amused because we don't own a tv!
