Vintage Community Survey

Any of you feeling public spirited may be minded to help out a dear fried of mine who is surveying the vintage community. The idea is to gain some insight into whether there is such a thing as a vintage identity, or whether we as a community are far too diverse a bunch to be a singularly representative lifestyle. Survey link is here:

Look for the Grand Vintage Inquisition.

This should only take five minutes to complete; any and all returns much appreciated.

Thank-you!

I'd love to hear your friend's findings from this survey, it sounds like a very interesting research area!

I'll certainly post a link to the blog on the results. :) I believe the survey is staying open until Thursday of this week. :)

Just took the survey.

Wondering: how are the results not going to be overwhelmingly British?

I told it I wanted to be in the early 30s, traveling with an educational show called The Marvels of Today. Television, theremin, stuff like that. All the things that were reality then that folks called The Future because there wasn't the money for anything new. Admission 10c, kids 5c. It would be a tonic for the soul!

I took the survey. I think I find the 1950s to be the most inspiring decade, personally, with regard to vintage things, whether it is the clothing styles or the music. I'm nearly as interested in the 1960s and 1940s as well, though, and to a lesser extent the 1930s, 1980s, and 1970s, respectively.
