Hi folks.
I thought UK members in the Northwest of England might like to know that Raiders of the Lost Ark is being screened on Friday the 5th of October at The Stockport Plaza. Showtimes and tickets are available from the website below. Also, on Sunday the 7th of October, there's a special afternoon celebrating Laurel & Hardy. This includes screenings of Way Out West and The Music Box.

The Plaza, opened in 1932, is a fantastic cinema which has recently been restored to it's former glory, and regularly includes classic movies on the bill. Check out the 360 degree photos in the link below. Besides Raiders & Stan and Ollie, you'll be treated to a live performance on the mighty Compton Organ, and probably a short film too (usually an old news-reel). Afternoon tea and other genteel delights are available from the fantastic tea-room. (Beer is available from a new bar in the basement!) Also, be prepared to stand for the national anthem at the end of the show!
