Ok... If you've seen my posts in the hat section, then you know I recently purchased a giant inventory of Vintage deadstock men's clothes. What I haven't mention, so far is that the inventory included a ton of mens underware. I know it's not a typical vintage clothing item, on the other hand most vintage clothes are used, and we all know that nobody could sell used BVDs.
So, without having the luxury of a complete inventory, I can tell you that I have boxes of boxers and stacks of old under shirts. In facts, I even have athletic supporters, still in the boxes!
It's all very random, but I figure they might be valuable to history, if nothing else. For instance, I didn't ever think about how boxers were made, prior to elastic. Now, I know they were make with little bows on the side that could be tightened and tied.
Is this stuff worth keeping in storage and/or attempting to market, or is it worthless stuff that is going to take up space, like it was doing in the attic of the men's store?
Y'all are pretty knowledgable about hats, but what do you know about old undies?
