Hi,

I've been a long-time poster on StyleForum and Ask Andy, and I was directed here for some advice on a mystery blazer I picked up recently. Does anyone know this label? It has really nice MOP buttons.

Any help, or any suggestions on where I should look, would be appreciated.

Looks almost like a military or uniform company label. Jacket looks '70s or '80s to my eye.

Here's a similar label in a Canadian Navy coat.

The long string of numbers starting with a 3 could very well be a military stock number, but the jacket doesn't look at all like a military uniform. 2 thoughts come to my mind; conversion from tunic to blazer, or perhaps officer's mess dress? Just a thought.

Veterans associations often utilize blazers of various designs as a sort of 'uniform' for formal-ish events (gatherings, meetings, excursions, dinners, etc.).

I'd go for some form of uniform, though not military. Perhaps airline cabin crew or bus driver or something of that ilk. Any possibility of a closeup of the buttons?
