Swedish tailored black lounge/stroller suit. The suit is in very good condition overall, and was recently dry cleaned. I've been looking for one of these for a long time, I got if from our excellent fellow Lounger Qirrel, but alas it was just slightly too small for me. My loss is your gain!
Jacket has notch lapels and three buttons. The vest has four pocket/six button with nicely pointed fronts. The trousers have double forward pleats, on seam pockets, cuffs, two buttoned back pockets, one flapped and buttoned front coin pocket, suspender buttons, and have a button fly with an extended button tab.
It is about a 42 to 43. The measurements are as follows: 23" pit to pit, 30" length (nape of neck to hem), 18.75" shoulders, 25" sleeves (good amount in the hem to let out), 20" across from bottoms of armpits on waistcoat, 34" waist on trousers (4" and a bit to let out, seems to have been taken in about two inches some time in the past), 30" inseam (with a 2" cuff), 16" bottoms.
Label reads "Marinius Pettersen, Oslo". The shop had a reputation for being among the better tailors in the Oslo-area in the 1950s. If this fit no way I would sell this!
