I'm selling this vintage Portis hat along with several others. This is a beautiful hat in a dark brown. The liner reads Portis Super-Lux Fashioned by Hand. "Swans Down Finish" The leather sweatband reads Portis Hand Crafted Super-Lux and Fitzgerald's Mens Store McHenry, ILL. The brim binding ribbon is whip stitched. The had is in fantastic condition. PM with any interest. $100 shipped in the Continental USA.

I believe that to be Super-Lux.

As the buyer, I can say that it is a pretty cool hat.
Razzman is nice guy, too.

The pinch is WAY off center, but I am leaving it like that.
It amuses me. You can kinda see that in the interior shot.
I stretched it a touch (it was a big 3/8) and rebashed it
to be a bit neater. With some brushing, the hat really
glows nicely.

I hope to list some larger hats here soon. 7 1/2-7 5/8.
