Veste Des Rallye sizing question

Do any of you guys have experience on Aero's Veste Des Rallye sizing?

My measurements are
Chest : 44
Shoulder : 20
Height : 5'8''

My current Aeros I own are
HWM : 42
Cafe racer : 44
Blizzard : 42

I tried to google and all I could find was the measurements of size 40.

I know this is a car coat and meant to be worn over jackets so it is designed to be roomy.

Do they fit like 1950s style Aero jackets? or even more roomy?

I have trouble choosing between size 40 and 42.
My gut says it is 42 but thought it would be a good idea to ask for some advice before pulling the trigger.

If in North America - ask Carrie. She will get it right the first time & fit jacket as part.
