Very old German frock-coat

A very nice and old German DB frock coat, including waistcoat. Both in great condition. Seller dates it to around 1910 which is probably correct but it could even be older (turn of the century). Would go very well with a tophat.

Seller's dating is probably true, as the lapels are not faced in silk (facing to the buttonhole was usual in Victorian era) and there is a breast pocket.

1910-1914 would be about the right timeframe. The lack of silk and the shape of the lapels. A couple of years later, lapels seemed to take the Tyrolian style and shape in many German coats
