Great find especially for the velour fans! :eusa_clap It will have to sift through all of this. I see Böhm (as in Brüder Böhm) listed. I know Viktor Böhm (Globus) was internationally renowned for his hat machines and inovations.

I got a chance to look this over. Great info especially the Böhm and Haakh patents. No wonder such great velour was produced from that region. Shows how much effort was put into getting the slick seal velour type finishes that are not around today.

There are a bunch of misconceptions (unfinished, ect) on this board regarding velour. For some reason many here considered it a sub standard finish which makes absolutely no sense (at least to me).

Two parts tranquilizer, two parts fascinating. Interesting information.

I appear to be in company with mayserwegener here in that I love a good velour finish.
