Hey all! I have decided to sell my Vanson model B in brown Competition Weight Cowhide. It's a size 44 with 26" long sleeves and zip cuffs. The 1" windflap in this jacket is just the right size - it works great but looks unobtrusive.
The jacket is in fantastic shape - the leather is thick and supple with beautiful grain, and there are no scuffs or tears. It is nice and thick with a dry (not oily) finish and just enough shine. The shiny brass zippers all function perfectly, and while it has some wrinkling in the sleeves from bending the arms, the jacket is really in near new condition. I'm not sure when the jacket was produced, but it came with the original tag with matching serial number, so I think Vanson can look it up.
Here are some measurements - let me know if you need more:
- Shoulder Seam to Shoulder Seam = 19.5”
- Length [bottom of collar to bottom of jacket] = 25.5”
- Underarm to Underarm = 23.5
- Sleeve [Shoulder Seam to End of Sleeve] = 26.0”
As you know, ordering from Vanson, this brown color would be an expensive custom option, and the jacket would be aroud $600.
I am asking $385 SOLD AND PAID FOR for the jacket. Buyer pays actual shipping costs. I will take payment by Paypal or money order.
These pics don't do it justice, but the color is pretty accurate. I will try and take some laydowns this weekend.
