More of a show and tell for now. Custom order Size 42 Vanson Colorado, this 8lb beautiful beast is what made me sell my other amazing Vanson Chopper. Jacket arrived 100% as speced and 110% in satisfying me The good people at Vanson provided above and beyond amazing customer service. I’m a really tough picky customer, and if they can make me a satisfied customer for life, anyone else shouldn’t think twice about ordering from them. This one will never be in TFL classifieds!!

Great jacket! Did u go stock size 42? I am curious the measurements of that if you do not mind. I was gonna spec a chp2 minus 2 inches body and plus 1/2 inch sleeve. How is the fit?

Fit pics will follow and yes, I went stock size 42. Didn't want to complicate it too much with tapering the waist or what not. It has the side laces which do the trick.

Wait time was accurate to what I was told when I ordered, 6mths ouch! So plan ahead guys if you're purchasing for riding season.

As for this current comp weight leather, my batch was a fairly thick weight and grainy. Also a more pliable hand and not iron like armor stiffness. Only worn a few times and its been comfortable to start breaking in. Not like the old school painful break-ins. I'm quite pleased with the hide and jacket.

Fit pics. Excuse the dirty mirror. Comfortable fit on and off bike. With the quilted liner in body and fur collar, a multi season tool. 42 is clearly my safe Vanson size, even if I try squeezing in 40s it just doesn’t last long. Much easier to bench some more and turn my natural 41 chest into a 42.

I'll snap a couple pics. In photos that other chopper might have looked good, but after one week back at the gym, I had no mobility in it. Almost straight jacket feel on the chest.

Could you please upload full size, they are so small all i can say with certitude is that it is black.

This is after a brief break in hot water shower, outside drying off. So it might look a bit matte until I recondition it. But you can see its pretty grainy, not super waxed / hard stuff. I think this is going to drape really well once fully broken in soft.

I wouldn’t have a problem with that leather in the slightest. Looks great to me. Too bad I literally can’t force them to take my money for an Oxford.
