I've been watching some of the Vancouver Film Schools listings of films online, and I saw this one. It is represenitive of Korean/Jap immagreants in 1950.. So I am sharing with the rest of the class.

When she jumped at the opportunity by asking if he had a girlfriend sort of threw me off, yet in all honestly, it was a brave move to make in a movie and for me it didn't ruin it at all. Towards the end, though, something didn't feel right, but it did end smoothly enough.

It's difficult for a character to be that open in a movie.

Overall a good story with artsy touches
