Buco D-pockets are still around $2K but it's hard to say if that really is what they realistically sell for. But yeah, if I had a J-24 in a good condition, I'd list it at two grands and take it from there. Maybe an auction at first then BIN with offer.
I personally wouldn't pay any more for one as they're not that exceedingly rare.
The regular D-pocket is your best bet. Other models... Might be a bit tougher to sell.
