Used/ broken in Goodwears- Anyone got pics?

I've been "messin' with samples of John Chapman's horsehide to get an idea of what a jacket will eventually look like. Then I found a shot on his site of a year old russet A2 which blew me away....
So, do any of you have shots of a Ventura or other non- A1/ A2 in the Seal Aniline or Dark Seal Aniline with some years of wear? I love the Dark Seal, but am hoping some of the shine goes away eventually.
Thanks!

Shine goes away. Sadly, most folks get GW's mil repops, so the number of well-worn civi jackets is harder to find. I'll have a two-year old Ventura in two years - come back then lol
Here's the customer wearing section. You may have already seen this, but have a look.

Not seal I'm afraid but my 2 1/2 year old Ventura is breaking in very nicely. Unfortunately, it's not had a great deal of ware because although its tagged as a 42" it fits more like a 38", it's wearable for me but just a little too snug for my 40" chest. Might have to let it go but I would definitely order another in a larger size, its a very smart pattern.

That leather is looking nice. Sorry about the fit. I just ordered an A-2 from John that I should be receiving in 2-3 weeks. After looking at many of his civilian jackets, I just decided that my chance of a proper fit would be better with his A-2's.

I have a Goodwear cafe racer in size 42 that fits me perfectly, just in case you decide to move the Ventura...;)

Was it supposed to be made to your measurements or did you buy it used?

@Coop. Are you selling? If so, could you PM (or post) the numbers please? It's beautiful!

I have a Gorgon and Ferguson M422 that looks like its 10-20 years old but the mouton looks brand new.
I can put pics up, its a dark seal with some red undertones in a goat. The prettiest jacket I have in my
Goodwear collection

Grayland - It was one of the GW sale jackets, made for someone else but was returned as too small, so it was new but not made to my measurements. I just didn't realise what a vintage fit meant, you have to ignore the 42 tag size and read 38".

ButteMT61 - I've been thinking of selling for some time, but it's such a killer jacket it's been hard to let go. I can wear it but It's just a tad too snug for me so hardly gets worn. I can zip it it up, but it's like a glove.

Here are the numbers:

Pit to pit: 21 1/4"
Waist at half belt height: 19"
Shoulders seam to seam: 19"
Sleeves seam to cuff: 24"
Back: 25"

I get you on selling. It's hard. But it's very close to my son's size, so I might be interested if you flip it. :)

i think this is a more recent jacket but still several years old so here is a GoodWear STAR Sportswear.
I dont know what color this is, a darker Russet or a lighter Seal
I have a Monarch Russet but its brand new.
See if this helps:

This Ventura is beautiful, a dream-jacket. Unfortunately it is way too expensive for me, north of 1.100 Euros plus VAT, no way.;) Anyway, killer jacket!
