the saddle bags in this link are not saddlebags in the strictest sense,they are actually pommel pockets for the 1917 packers saddle

They remained in service with QM pack troops up unitil the mid 50s when the last horse and mule units dismounted

You are probably looking for a pair of these. They are Harley Davidson WLA 45 saddlebags. Unfortunately replicas are pretty expensive!

Do a search for McClellan Saddlebags. You'll find everything from repro to original. The older style bags were black and the newer were brown/russet. There are a lot of options and prices.

Hey, are you still looking for repro M1904 saddlebags? Here's a set from What Price Glory for $208. New, all straps intact, no dry rot, no missing parts, and no busted stitching. I've seen many originals for more than this in unacceptable condition.
