Theoretically- you need to bid on US 7 5/8!!!
British sizes are numerically one size smaller than US sizes,
given the same fitting.
Eur 61 should be a UK 7 1/2. US 7 1/2 is Eur 60....

Reason for Eur vs. UK? well... UK were supposed to have adopted metrics some decades ago but never caught on. We were supposed to in NZ in '73 and we did...
What about the old European sizes- 4, 5, 6,....?
Fitting per size varies due to all manner of things... depends on which market the hat is made for obviously.
