I was thinking 70's. Just gives off that look. Would have gone good with all the curdoroy pants I sold at a garage salfe last month (not my pant's. Found them in a storage). We had bags full... I never want to see that fabric again... :p

Corduroy isn't to bad until the 60s or 70s.

Corduroy is comfortable.

Love some of my 40s belted corduroy Hollywood jackets, 30s Yellow corduroy short jacket.
and 40s corduroy shirts.

So no need to sell it short but there is redeeming quality's in the older use of the fabric

I remember my mom buying me corduroy pants in the 70s. God, I hate those.

I bought Old Town High Rise Trousers in corduroy a few weeks ago and I love them. My first corduroys since about the early 80s. They are perfect for a vintage workwear look with boots and leather jacket or my M1909 sheepskin parka. And next to my flannels they are my most comfy trousers.
