Sorry, I don't know why there are double photos. Dumb operating error on me!

You had triplicates of one of the images. Also, your text was split by the pictures. I fixed all of it for you.

As to the date of the jacket, I haven't been able to find a similar tag with the red numerals splitting the handshake. I'll continue to look.

Look in the lower right side of the union tag (part that is hidden) to see if there is a copyright date there.

Didn't I see this question posted in another section?

Thank you for the fixes. Yes, I posted the labels only in Dinnertime Thread on Union Label. I included the complete jacket, labels, buttons and bullion. Thanks, for every ones help. I think the buttons date post 1941. The labels 1930 to ....? It would be interesting to determine the red #'s 4593661 as part of the time stamp.

I didn't find a copyright date but a "registered G 4" is shown in the bottom left corner. The bottom right corner has a 242 with a football shape emblem (unable to read anything in that football). Thanks again!

I believe the "football shaped emblem" is referred to as the "Union Bug."

Two clues:

1) there is a website that will show you the years certain union labels were used, that will get you close.
2) You could look the guy up at the academy. That will tell you when he was there and what happened to him after graduation.
