I was going through a few hats of mine tonight and found my Disney had a Hatters Union tag inside under the liner. I check some others I had and didn't see any others. I don't recall seeing anyone talk about union tags in hats before... Does anyone know the history of them?

You'll find the tag in a lot of the hats made in Danbury, where many (most?) of the hat factories were union. The tags seem to me to appear more in 50s hats, and often in the hats the Danbury companies made for other labels.
