Y'all familiar with PBS's Antiques Roadshow spinoff called Antiques Roadshow FYI? It's a half-hour program (I think), highlighting old collectibles and the people who either have large, interesting collections or who make their living in the old-stuff business. I've seen episodes featuring antique cars, bicycles, kitchen appliances, woodstoves, etc.
You'd think that vintage men's hats would be right up their alley, wouldn't you?
Now, I suppose I should be careful what I wish for. Any popular program featuring old hats would increase the demand, and hence the prices. But then, maybe some folks would be prompted to retrieve Grandpa's old lids from the attic and get a few bucks for 'em.
