I have a pair of cotton pants with a crease line, but no crease. Any tricks for getting it all out? I tried ironing, ironing with vinegar, and professional pressing. Most of it is gone, but there's still a line, though broken in some places and almost completely gone above the knee. Any useful tips would be appreciated.

Yes, I've washed them about 3X. My concern is that the heat from the ironing and pressing left a permanent wear pattern along the crease. It doesn't appear above the knee presumably because the crease was already faded there before heat was applied.

cotton will usually fade along crease lines in time. in my opinion it's best to just let cotton be how it wants to be (a bit drape-less and crumpled) and not try to fight it. ;)

Thanks. I'm left with that now since I've exhausted the alternatives. Thank you for your advice. Much appreciated.
