Trick, Treat, Trilby or Top Hat?

My girlfriend and I are invited to a Halloween party with a theme expressed as "Generational". "Come dressed as the time period of your favor". Well, that couldn't be easier for me! I plan to wear a black double-breasted suit and my white Champ fedora. Not sure what Nicki's going to do - she's stressing the whole thing.

Anyway, I'll take/post pix after tomorrow and in the meantime, I'm starting this seasonal thread to invite Loungers to show whatever Halloween costumes they may be sportin' this month involving hats.

I've got a tweed blazer and a bowler hat that I'm trying to work with. I'm thinking a chimney sweep or something.

My gal and I decided to go as the ghosts of Bonnie & Clyde replete with pasty faces and bullet-riddled, bloody bodies. Pix in a couple of days. Hope I don't get anything like fake blood, etc., on my Champ!

If I'm going to put on clothes that make me hard to recognize, I'm going to get myself a sweatshirt with the arms torn off, some high tops, a backward baseball cap (in white, of course), and some really, really baggy raver pants.

We're still lookin' for a few good ideas.....

Maybe something that would involve any of my hats, Fedoras, newsboys, gatsbys, flatcaps, etc..

Any interesting thoughts concepts, or ideas for the Mrs. and I is greatly appreciated. :eusa_doh:

Go as a hat rack. Wear one and hang others all around your head and shoulders. You could probably get about six of 'em on at once. You'll be the envy of the whole Lounge!

Man, I've really 'played' the sword thing over the years. Pirate, Zorro, musketeer...

They are works of art though, and fun to incorporate into costumes.
