Gak! The dudes at the Tonys are wearing tuxes that look like they were stolen from some Oscars guys from about 15 years ago. Gak.
But it's not so bad, really. I have the Tonys on without the sound and have the Big Broadcast on the radio.

I'm sure I remember seeing 'beard trimmers' in the eighties that had a specific setting for the "designer stubble" look.

You are very right Edward and apparently they are still available for that George Michael/Sonny Crockett/lazy bum look.

What gets me is, isn't it more of a hassle to faff around keeping your stubble at a shabby level rather than just having a shave!

I remember an anecdote about Robert Frost and Carl Sandburg. Sandburg was visiting at Frost's home. Someone asked where Sandburg was, and Frost said, "Oh he's in the bathroom fussing with his hair to make it look like a comb never touched it."
