Hi all,

For those that live in the citay, and are hankering to sew, I will be 'volunteering' a couple of times a month at Stitch lounge starting in November.

http://www.stitchlounge.com/

For those of ya'll not familiar with the place, its a sewing lounge ("Hm, never would of guessed that by the name, Shelley!"). Its a cool place, and a nice place to get help and such with a project.

So if you are having a project you would like some input on (such as a vintage pattern or something), please feel free to drop by and if you want Ill chime in my two cents.

Later all,

LD

OOOHHH! I was thinking about signing up with those folks for private lessons (dear god would someone please show me how to make a nice looking collar and sleeves that don't look awful on the inside of the garment!), but I'm broke so it'll have to wait until next year.

Hey, I just might have to stop by! I've always wanted to go. The owner/manager is just the nicest thing. I've traded emails with her on craftster.

Sounds like a fun way to spend the day.
