tie for linen pants/silk jacket

My summer wardrobe is usually linen pants with a silk blend jacket. The problem is I can't find a tie to wear. My usual silk ties are way to glossy to wear with the outfit, or maybe it's just me. Any tips? (The up side of this is I have an excuese not to wear at tie in the summer.)

Look for vintage '30s ties (usually repp stripes) made with Palm Beach Cloth, a sort of linen-wool blend.

A tad creamier than off white but not quite buttermilk-
Cream, I would call it.
