Thirsty old cal - how to nourish?

I always used Lexol on my cars and no issues, for years. So I recommended to a member locally here on his naked brown Schott jacket, and it darkened it. I felt bad about it. I still use it on my cars because its easy to get here and I am not fixing something that isn't broke. But for naked hide jackets, beware it will get darker if you use Lexol, so if its a light color and you want it to stay light maybe there are other better options out there. Black you should be fine. All the seats in my cars have always been black leather.
