It started with this tie:

The recipe calls for:
3/4 oz. lime juice
3/4 oz. pineapple juice
2 oz. Puerto Rico rum
1 oz. Jamaica rum
1/2 oz. Apricot liqueur
shake with cracked ice.
Serve un-strained.
Decorate with fruit, mint.

A trip to the liquor store later, we had a whole mess of Zombies, accurate to the vintage recipe from the tie.
Very tasty.

I recall being in Galveston, on the gulf and going to a great pool bar (right out of Dr. No) and having to tell the bartender how to make a Zombie... worlds collided that night.
