As you all know I just got married in Cleveland. Our activities consisted of shopping and eating and shopping. We were disappointed in the thrift stores. Salvation Army, Goodwill ect. Apparently they have a huge influx of Japanese people that come around a couple times a year and clean out the town by shipping container , yes train container, loads of vintage clothes back to Japan. Weird right? But in any case there is a store there that is so fantastic. I was an entire warehouse full to the ceiling with vintage clothes. There is everything there! There was an amazing amount of 20's. Beautiful things. Dress and coats like I have never seen before. These things were not out to the public. Luckily I was dressed in full vintage and the owner happened to be there and recognized I was not a person that would do any damage so I got to look. Amazing! The prices were reasonable on everything. She was a very interesting lady. She even gave me some seamed stocking for free. But in any case I have put the contact info below. She does not have a web site but I am sure if you called things could be shipped.

Wow! That really makes me miss Cleveland! There used to be this tiny little shoppe on Euclid, right across from CSU...the lady there was lovely. The store wasn't even marked. Nothing like finding a hidden gem!

Chelsea's is a great hit or miss spot (I'm a Ohio gal). Volume doesn't always guarantee good results everytime, but it's always a fun way to spend an afternoon! PM me epr25 next time you'll be in my next of the woods... the Mr. and I would love to meet up for lunch and some vintage hunting!

No unfortunatley the guys side was not that great. They had allot of stuff but mostly 60's and 70's at that time. No larger sizes. Of course.
