I've not checked out this section of the FL completely, and never will. I did see comments about the lack of big band music and swing on the radio. I did a search for KJZZ, a jazz station in the LA area, on FL and found one reference to it. I have discovered that on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 0600 Pacific time they have a program called "The Swinging Years" with DJ Chuck Cecil who must be in his 80's or more and has been doing radio for 60 years or more. He was there during at least part of the swing era. It is definately worth listening to. And, given that I'm in SLC, UT, I listen to it via internet radio. I found the station on iTunes radio section.
I use Roxio Audio Capture to record some or all of it to my hard drive for future listening or transfer to iPod Nano et al.

"Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water. And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce, they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.
