The Stocking Curse.....

I know that they're are a lot of posts on stockings around here. But I wanted to start a new one to talk about my obsession with stockings, or should i say curse. I started to wear vintage clothing a long, long time ago. And having a deep love for vintage clothing you learn that stockings are a big part of it. Don't get me wrong ladies, I love them. But I find myself wearing them everyday, spending soooo much money on them. I can't help it, I love them! They, to me, are a good definition of womanhood.

I know what you mean! There was a time when they only came out for special occasions, but now I can't imagine leaving the house without some seamed stockings anchored to my garter belt. I do wear tights a lot in the winter, as it's so cold, but I feel really frumpy and weird in them now. To save money, I use the cheapo costume store variety for daily use, and save my nice fully-fashioned ones for going out. Still, it's an investment.

Also, Frederick's of Hollywood have $12.00 cuban heel stockings! It's nice going to the store and buying them, not just ordering online always.
