Such a great color, Michael. You're a lucky man to have a non-silverbelly OR.
Thanks Fruno. I gather from looking at the catalogs posted here that they made only silverbelly for many grades on most years. I have a Pilgrim thin ribbon in silverbelly so I was looking for variety. I'm not sure if they called this light gray or dark gray or something else altogether?Such a great color, Michael. It might even be an old version of Caribou. I'm not sure when that color debuted, but I think it's been around for a while.

Thanks Anthony. Am I correct in guessing this is taupe? The brim is larger than my other one, seems to be 2 7/8". And it weighs a bit more than the Royal, this one being 127 g and the Royal 116 g. The material covering the tip seems different too, more like cellophane than plastic.very nice Michael
I'd guess early to mid '50s... more mid

In the mid-90s, Stetson offered their Temple in "Caribou"; I saw it at Meyer the Hatter. Never bought one, as I was uninterested in a gray hat then. Now I think a mid-gray or light gray OR would be fantastic.

Thanks Fruno. I think I have it fixed. I knew it wasn't right, but it looked like someone had tied a knot in it, so I didn't want to look to closely. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. Do you have the instructions around here for your lampshade shrink? This is my size, but could use a touch of tightening up.Nice pick p, Michael. Congratulations. Now fix that wind trolley.
Thanks Hatto. What colors in a fair isle would you recommend with this? Ha ha.Very nice!
I think the roll is over Bob, just wanted to satisfy my curiosity. Of course if a nice dark brown one showed up locally I wouldn't turn it down. You are on an OR roll Michael! Congrats!
so much yes Michael .... yes yes YES!!!My modest, and destined to remain modest, thin ribbon collection.
