Reminds me of how the 3 tramps detained but not arrested in Dallas on that infamous day were not tramps at all.Well, the guy in the denim jacket is in handcuffs so the other two are probably cops, some of whom are notoriously bad dressers.

The guy on the left should be in cuffs for crimes against fashion. Here's a startling combo of a pinstripe db suit with a plaid shirt (and possibly a polka-dotted tie to-boot?) in a circa 1949 photograph:
Interesting pinches
Yeh,that "Capone"pinch is unique.Interesting pinches
Just to be Railfan geeky... the flat car has a link-and-pin rather than a knuckle coupler, not seen much after the early 1900s. Kind of cool!1932

And I can make out several pocket watch chains esp. the one hanging from the vest of the gent out front. By the end of the 1920s wristwatches were out-selling pocket watches but the railway men persisted in carrying their official railroad grade pocket watches. Century old pocket watches to this day continue to meet or exceed timekeeping standards for the best (expensive!) wristwatches. You can tell I'm hooked.Exactly!! Love this old car. Wish I could see the side and all. Old School!
And the Derbys, I guess, was a big hit around those parts on the railroad.
