He is very tiny, I think always has been. (Inbreeding? ). I stood in front of him in person at Buck House once, and, at 19 and being 5'10", I towered over him. From memory, I'd estimate he was only about 5'6" at most. Bear in mind that the Queen is very tiny herself - I hear about 5'0"? - and he's not got that much height one her (not sure if she's in heels in the photos above). The Obamas are, of course, both significantly taller than the average, especially the First Lady, so that will of course exaggerate Mr and Mrs Windsor's small stature.

I'd estimate he was only about 5'6" at most.

But here he is standing next to 6'0" President Bush in 2003.
