The hard-to-find or unusual Hat Circle

Not unique, as Jerad (@jLee) once found a link to describe the felt dyeing process, so there must be more out there, and not necessarily Stetsons. However, this is the only one I've seen and the only one that's been on the Lounge (to my knowledge).

That thing is impressive. I’ve never seen another that wasn’t some sort of duplex. Always enjoy seeing it.

Fan clutch broke on a Chevy V8. A common action in the past when replacing V belts is to grab throttle and rev engine and make sure you don't get that slipping belt squeal. The fan and clutch unit moved forward and the blades of the fan screwed into the radiator but the hub detached and ricocheted off the crank pulley and hit me in the chin. I'm alive and my tongue was not in the way.

Daggone, that hurts to even think about!
