I still am very fond of my dentist in spite of some of the things I've had done. I had an accident 38 years ago that broke my mandible ( jaw bone) in two places and took out several teeth and damaged many more. I have had a slide hammer used to get reluctant temp crowns off, lots of crown lengthening (trimming gums lower on tooth), multiple full mouth impressions, and a couple of sessions of tapping a screw extractor into a damaged head screw holding an appliance frame to implants. I don't need thrills from an amusement park. Hats also serve to change facial proportions so swollen jowls are not so obvious.

I’d like to know how you did all that damage just so I’ll know how to avoid it! That doesn’t sound like any fun at all.

You could stop now, but was there a MacLachlan 200?!!

The Platinum Beaver!

I would jump to 120 or 150 first as being in the realm of possibility. Stetson had that 150 ... maybe MacLachlan did too ... just sayin'.:D

More pics of my Mac Golden Beaver Hundred, sent to me by my brother-in-law. Looks like a 7 1/4, but it's unreeded, and a large area in front has become unstitched. I already contacted Optimo to ask if they have the machine for unreeded sweatbands.
I have an unfoxed, identical liner I can transplant to it

If I'm seeing that right it measures 19cm by 16,7cm, which is an almost perfect 7;)
This is getting more and more exciting! I don't mind a little foxing on the liner, Max!

Fan clutch broke on a Chevy V8. A common action in the past when replacing V belts is to grab throttle and rev engine and make sure you don't get that slipping belt squeal. The fan and clutch unit moved forward and the blades of the fan screwed into the radiator but the hub detached and ricocheted off the crank pulley and hit me in the chin. I'm alive and my tongue was not in the way.

Wow! Now I see it! Is it yours, Bob? Wow! Bowen told me once they existed, but I had never seen it. I am downloading those pics, Bob!

Don't know about rare (even if it is the only one I've ever seen), but it is certainly unusual. No longer own it, but it is in very good hands.

Is that felt, Stefan? Very unusual!
See, this is what I had in mind with this thread. And @BobHufford 's Stetson 150. I had heard of the 150, but wasn't sure it existed, and had not even imagined @steur 's Barbisio.
