The G1 jacket and the fedora

The G1 jacket just doesn`t seem to go with a fedora,the A2 on the other hand somehow looks much better with the fedora.Maybe a plain wool ball cap? A marine utility cap? Those lids seem to me personally to look better when worn with the G1 type jacket...I guess it`s my own neurotic way!

Gee, I've been wearing my G&B M-422A with my mid-brown Akubra Federation III for years, so obviously I think the combination works. (But I wear my brown herringbone B!Wear cap about equally with that jacket too.)

I tend to wear a flatcapt with mine, but I've worn a fedora as well. Personally, I like the look of a fedora with a 2" brim or so, something with a sort of mid 50s shape to it.

Well, it was good enough for Bogie. He wore a fedora and G-1 (or M-422) in Tokyo Joe.
