The Black Stallion

I just saw The Black Stallion last night. What a beautiful movie. Set in the late 40's, with Mickey Rooney, to boot. Just wondering if anyone else enjoyed it, and what you think of how well they prttrayed 1947. I thought they did a great job.

An all-time favorite of mine. I saw it when I was very small, when it came out, and it has had a lasting impact on me. Beautifully done. It's a film that echoes.
