Folks,

I am weak and easily led and have decided (almost) on a size 40 Teamster in tumbled cordovan. What I want to know is this- how long is this style? I have a Stockman which is the longest Aero in my possession. I am hoping that a Teamster would be similar in length (or a touch shorter), but not as short as a Highwayman. I have an LHB- is a Teamster that sort of length?

Pics would help, if people have them.

It can be as long or short (within reason) as you want to specify in your order.

Mine was quite long (for me) at 28 inches but I’ve seen others that sit much shorter on people.

Mine was 28,5" long in a size 38. I believe they fit similarily to the Long Hercules and Long Halfbelt, which are longer than the HWM by a few inches and a tad shorter than the Stockman, which I believe is aeros longest style, You should be good.

edit: I don't know how far you sre with sizing, but I can tell you it runs large, you should probably go one size down. I have a 40" chest and went to to 38 which had 22,5+" PTP and still left me room to layer.

Here's mine the day it arrived in the mail. Normally I wear a size 40..but I ordered this in a 38 with 28 1/2" body length. I'm 6'1".

It's odd but I seem to have seen this jacket worn as either a 3/4 length or a shorter half-belt. I often wondered about the intent of this pattern.

Dav, you should hit up Aero to model their jackets (HD, too!). Thanks to you and HD, I have a working idea of what I'm going to go for. Seb, I'd also wondered if it was a 3/4. I reckon tumbled cordovan HH in the lightest version they have with an inch added on (maybe 29 or 30 inch back length if possible). I think standard buttons...

Here are a couple of pictures at the time I bought my size 42 Teamster that has a back length of 28.5". As a point of reference I amd almost 6'2" but "high waisted" with long arms. If I had it to do again I might go with another 1" to 1 1/2" added to the body length, or maybe not.

I think tumbled cordovan (lightest HH they can find) would probably be a good choice. Do I need those button cuffs, eh?

Yup- I think I'll go without. I like button cuffs on the Highwayman and Half Belts, but I always have them undone as I find it more comfortable (and I am a sloppy git). I'll give them a miss on the Teamster...
