Teamster length in comparison to Stockman (sz. 40)

Anyone got both? I'm thinking of ordering a Teamster in tumbled cordovan with modified outer pockets (horizontal, like the Brakeman). I'm tempted to get it in battered tan, but I've already got a cafe racer in that hide. Just want to find out whether there's a significant length difference.

I have both, but the Stockman in 38 and the Teamster in 40.

I asked for 30" for the Stockman which was an inch shorter than normal. The Teamster was 28" on one and 27.5" on the second, both as standard.

I'd say there's a 3-3.5" difference, but you can usually change it an inch or so each way.

Wdw- which do you consider the better pattern? Is there one that you wear more for utility or prefer?

They're both entirely different and I wear both equally, so the only answer is to get both. :)

I have two Stockmans and have just ordered my second Teamster, so these are definitely my favourite Aero designs.

I wear the Stockman much more in winter and maybe autumn, and the Teamster mostly spring to autumn, but sometimes in winter too.

I'd say the Teamster is more flexible and probably better as your first buy of the two, but I definitely prefer having both.

You won't go wrong either way.

Thanks for the info, wdw. Now I must just figure out if I need another jacket- but if I'm wondering, it's a foregone conclusion...
