I have several Taylor jackets. All are great quality. Nothing wrong with the leather, build quality, or fit. Some people don't like leather from Columbia and Pakistan. Me? I remove the label which says Made In Pakistan.

This is the lowest price leather jacket they sell. The N-143. On my jacket, a badge tab was added to the left chest. There are side entry, inside pockets for carrying a handgun. A motorcycle rider could use those pockets for registration and insurance documents. Or you can carry your lipstick and face powder compact.

Taylor jackets lack the refinement of high priced jackets sought after by collectors. What you do get is a serviceable, wearable jacket. I have worn this on many motorcycle rides. It is good enough for that. I have worn this jacket in the rain. It is good enough for that. I have worn this jacket in cold weather. It is good enough for that.

This is the Boston model that they sell. The large, single piece of leather on the back is a nice touch. This is a mid-length jacket, which goes over the duty belt, with slits on the side seams to allow for access to the firearm. I have worn this jacket on a motorcycle, in the rain, and in cold weather. I've had this jacket for about 15 years or so. No complaints yet. The chest pockets are large enough to accommodate modern smartphones.
