Taubers Straight zip 50's - 60's Police jacket

Hello Lounge friends, here's the well restored Tauber's jacket now up for sale. This jacket has a lot of recent history, all of which can be found here:

If nothing else, this jacket has proven to me how wonderful well-broken in horsehide really is, especially after being cleaned and with a new lining, etc. Another beauty of this jacket is in the details, many of which are still original, such as the Conmar zippers on the pockets. The original stitching, again most of which is preserved, is tight, even and true. The main zipper is new and works very well.

No Tag for size, given the dimensions below I would point toward a "42-short"

Torso down zipper - 21.75" / 55.25 CM
Back length - 23.5 /59.7 CM

I paid $600 for mine purchased here, it is and was in prime original condition with longer sleeves a rarity with Taubers jackets. My cross zip (nice condition a little smaller than the straight zip that it replaced) sat here for weeks with a $350 price, sold on ebay. I was also surprised by the lack of interest.
I think the abundance of Cal Leathers on the market at very reasonable price affect the price for the rarer Taubers along with the short sleeve lengths
