Unique opportunity for all large gentlemen.
A supremely beautiful specimen of a 1940's Swedish Leather jacket.
Made by BeGe - Mattson, labelled as "Guaranteed Real Goatskin" in Swedish.
I presented it in the Outerwear section:
http://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/1940s-swedish-goatskin-4-pocket-jacket.85134/
The jacket is labelled with size 58 (European), which is US/UK Sz. 48 (XL).
It has 70 cm / 27.5 inches sleeves, a 64 cm / 25.2 inches chest, 60 cm / 25 inches waist, 85 cm / 33.5 inches back length (without collar) and 50 cm / 20 inches shoulders.
Since it is six sizes too large for me, I will pass it on. I kills me, as I LOVE this jacket,
but I will never ever in my life fit into it.
It has a button front, four pockets, a belt and a removable brown sheep/fur collar.
The liner is a lovely wool Tartan with grey-brown base and red and white check.
The condition is perfect. No damages or bad smell.
Of course it has the usual minor scuffs and tiny scratches that are to be expected with vintage leather (if desired, I can photograph each of those scuffs that aren't even worth mentioning). It is in vastly superior state than the average "good condition" leathers.
The jacket is gently worn, has great patina and the leather is supremely soft while sturdy.
I put emphasis on this: this goatskin jacket has the best leather I handled ever in my years of collecting vintage leather. It is supremely sturdy, but soft and not excessively heavy.
You won't get a better vintage leather - certainly not in this style, origin and XL size!
