Swimsuit/Playsuit?

Anybody know sites/places (preferably in LA) where they sell cute vintage or repro playsuits?

Anybody know where I can find cute 1920's-ish flapper, sailor swimsuits! I've been dying to have one since I was a tyke. But I held off "Till I had the figure and height for it." lol

I'm 5'6 so the heights ok but with 28 inch waist... I dont know about figure. I'm not a brick house as much as I am a brick. Not fat, or chubby per se, just a bit pudgy, thick waisted.

Darling, I would KILL for a 28" waist!
and a lot of vintage gives the illusion of a smaller waist than you have, you will find.
I know that ReVamp in LA makes a cute playsuit, but they are pretty expensive.
Ebay is as usual the easiest place to find stuff, but it does get expensive for the real thing. However, some of the 80s and 90s ones can be made to pass with the right accessories!

I thought Revamp would have them, but I was wrong. They do have some 30s repro swimsuits and quite a few playsuits. Stop Staring is also making playsuits now - you can see several of them at daddyos.com. I'm pretty sure there are other threads here about playsuits, but I searched and couldn't find any, so once again I may be wrong :)

Oh please. 28" waist is NOT "thick waisted". I'm serious, it's just not. OK, maybe it is if your bust is 32" and your hips are 34". It really all depends what your proportions are.

Kitty's right. Before we kill you for saying this, please tell us your hip and bust measurements. lol It's for your own good.

Anyway...I suggest just getting the real thing on ebay. Probably cheaper. OH -Esther Williams makes nice vintage styled swimsuits and bikinis. Edit: but more 1950's. Missed your 20's requirement.

Is this what you're looking for as far as swimsuits go? I know this is more 1910s than 1920s.

It doesnt look like I havemuch of a figure, my hips dont look too big. Except when it comes to trying clothes on. It's like damn!

And when I buy jeans I out grow em real fast! The My Baby Jo ones I bought 2 years a go used to be an inch below, now they're about an inch above my ankle/

Oh, those are perfectly fine measurements! If you want to accentuate your figure, try wearing a padded bra or using bra inserts, try a waist cincher, and avoid girdles that will smush down your hips! There are a lot of styles you can wear too that will really make your waist look smaller. Full skirts do wonders.

I suppose they are fine. But it doesn't really register all the way, considering Ive been praying to God for a C-D cup since I was starting Kinder or Grade School! lol

You have fantastic measurements!

What about getting the sewing machine out and making up something? At least then you'd get to choose every part of the style, fabric, size AND: knowing you've made with your own good hands, you're more likely to wear it :D

How old are you? You said you were growing quickly....
Anyway save up for implants (lol) and until then, make do with a Wonder Bra, or falsies! And try a waist cincher.
